Well Child’s telehealth program allows children to have an exam with a Well Child nurse practitioner from home. The nurse practitioner interacts with the patient virtually, using a phone, tablet or computer.

Well Child can currently provide annual physicals and sick care through telehealth. Nurse practitioners can treat many common illnesses and conditions, and will send any needed prescriptions to the pharmacy of the family’s choice.

Annual Physicals: To schedule an annual physical through telehealth, call Well Child at (901) 728-5858 or (866) 403-5858. Sick care: To schedule a sick visit, select an available appointment time online at wellchild.com/telehealth, or call (901) 728-5858 or (866) 403-5858.

Well Child accepts most insurance plans. Families may be responsible for co-payments, depending on their plan. Families without insurance can also choose our self-pay option. Most exams are $35.

A telehealth appointment with Well Child can be completed using most smart phones, tablets, or computers. You need internet access as well as audio and video capabilities. There is no app to download. Well Child will send you a link to access the virtual exam room before your scheduled appointment.

A Well Child representative will call you about 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. She will then send you a link to your secure exam room through text or email. Simply click the link to enter the room and begin your exam.

Yes! Well Child will email you a school excuse, along with some educational health information, following your appointment.

Well Child can treat many common illnesses and conditions through telehealth. If a prescription is needed, we will send it electronically to the pharmacy of your choice.

Unfortunately, due to the specialized nature of a sports physical, we are unable to complete this exam through telehealth.
